This album is reserved for lost and found imagery. Should you find an unidentified Sandy-damaged photograph, snap a cell phone pic and send it to us for uploading here. Hopefully our internet audience will be able to reunite owners with cherished imagery. We'll offer restoration services to reunited owners. (Six images in this gallery —including those which were discovered within an entire family album— have already been reunited!!!)

CARE for Sandy received an amazing memo from a site visitor who penned, "Hi! My name is Lisa C., I live in Princes Bay. We found a page from someone's wedding book on the beach by Wolfe's Pond Park. After going through your lost and found section I saw that you have a wedding picture from the same people that a woman from Huguenot found "Carol S". It says you have located the owner ..... How do I get the page of pictures to the owner??" Even more ironic is the fact that the pictured bride is ALSO named Lisa C. CARE for Sandy has arranged a reunion. In Lisa C. #2's words, "I can't tell you how happy I am!!!!...The more people looking for these photos and reaching out the better!!! My family was looking at me a little crazy when I said I was going to find them .... But here we are!!! Thank you for taking the time to help these people ...It is a wonderful thing you are doing!!" We couldn't agree more.

This image was found by Staten Island Advance reader, Christine S., who discovered it plus one additional bridal photograph "on the Staten Island waterfront in Huguenot." CARE for Sandy's founder tracked down the bride — Lisa C. —, drove out to Staten Island from Brooklyn for retrieval, scanned Lisa's photos and is currently working on restoring them.
